Vivarium
Responsible for art direction.
Vivarium is the first game where I had the honor of starting from scratch and being free to propose artistic direction ideas. I was therefore able to make different design proposals.
Since Vivarium was a casual game, the cards mostly contained little gameplay information. The idea was to leave as much room as possible for Satoshi Matsuura's illustrations while still allowing players to play smoothly.

The design of the cards.
This is a card collecting game, so it's the main physical element of the game. I opted for a hand-drawn frame to leave room for the illustration.
The backs of the cards take the form of the first player token and recall the idea of a compass (the story of this game is based on exploration).

Logo and tokens.
As for the logo, my version was kept for the first player token, but for the main version it was improved by the artistic director of studio H.
The logo and tokens echo the "handmade" idea of the cards. The first player logo and tokens echo this idea of exploration and compass. The logo's typography is an existing typography that I redesigned by hand to maintain the same consistency.
